Hi guys, its Monday (my least favorite day of the week) and although I am on holiday I have a little something something to make your Monday better. Recently I received a gift bag full of goodies and this perfume was part of that lovely surprise. Im not a huge fan of celebrity perfumes and Im sure I would have overlooked this one as well. So today ill share my thoughts with you on the Britney Spears VIP Private show and a little something at the end. Make sure to read all the way to the end ????
Britney Spears VIP Private Show Review
Currently I only have one other Britney Spears perfume in my cupboard and I also discovered the scent cause it was gifted to me years ago. It is the Curious scent and I have even repurchased it once. I enjoy a sweet and light fragrance, but I have come to realize that celebrity scents can be a bit overly sweet. This Britney Spears VIP Private Show however does not fall into that trap. It is the perfect amount of sweet and floral. Its at a level of maturity that some of the other celebrity scents have not achieved yet. Even the packaging is pretty, yet grownup. The bottle is see through which shows off the beautiful pink liquid and then you have the glitter filled lid (also see through). I find this pretty, playful and easy on the eye.
Notes
The top notes include blood orange, red apple and mango. I enjoy fruity smells and what I appreciate is that there isn’t a whole fruit salad in this fragrance. They have kept is relatively simple with only three fruits that then gets softened by some lovely floral notes. These middle notes include orange blossom, violet and magnolia. All these flowers are sweet yet the fragrance is beautiful and light, maybe it is cause of the base notes that pull it all together. The base notes are raspberry, woody notes, musk and amber. Just enough earthiness to make this a beautiful fragrance that I adore.
Longevity
I find this perfume to be light and soft with a beautiful sweetness. I feel like a fairy princess whenever I wear this. You get about 5 hours of wear, and even after that I can still lightly smell it on my wrist. I am a firm believer that when you are as “see through white” as me, one cannot wear dark colored perfumes as they tend to be deep and overpowering. Those scents smell like “katepis” on me. These light colored fragrances is so much better as they tend to be light and sweet and is just what I like. I find that when the scent has settled, it does not change too drastically and remains quite the same, but it does smell different on my sister than on me. It’s always been interesting to me how the same perfume can smell different on different people.
The low down
If sweet and light fragrances is what you like and use, I am sure that you will enjoy this one as well. You can get your hands on this fragrance for R 465 @ 30ml all the way to R665 @ 100ml from Edgars, Foschini, Truworths as well as their online stores.
In conclusion, this is a pretty and sweet fragrance, it is not obnoxiously in your face. It settles into a stunning warm smelling scent that keep me feeling fresh and pretty throughout the day.

This is such a great write-up, I really enjoyed reading it. One thing that remained constant with Britney was the quality of her fragrances. Even when her career was spiralling out of control, her fragrances still sold and that says a lot.
