Hi guys, it is the start to a new week. I hope you all had an amazing weekend and that you are recharged and ready for the week. That is also the topic of discussion today – make some time for yourself. In today’s life there is just not enough time to get everything done!
With all the rolls we as women have to fulfil it can be hard. A career women, a wife, mommy, the keeper of your home. There is just so much that gets expected of us that sometimes it can be overwhelming. I promise you there is so many women out there that feel like this, me included.
This post is a reminder to take a step back, take some time for yourself. Once you are refreshed you might have a different outlook and perspective on something that was bothering you.
Take 10 mins at night to reflect on your day. Make yourself a cup of tea, put down the electronic devices and think back on your day. Enjoy and celebrate the success you have reached. No matter how small, those pesky kgs that you are busy shedding, or a big problem at work that you have resolved. ANYTHING!!! Then think about something you were not so proud of. Do not dwell too long, cause tomorrow you will get a chance to try again.
Make some time for yourself!!
When we take stock of our day, we can track the progress of our goals and make the necessary adjustments. That is why goal setting is so important. You need to know where you start so you can manage your progress.
Lastly I want to chat about taking time for yourself to also spoil yourself. Go for a latte or a mani & pedi. Take some time to do the things you love and enjoy. This fills the soul with happiness and allows you to pass this on to friends, family and colleagues. When your cup is overflowing you cannot help but spread it.
