Elizabeth Arden Hydragel Cream Review

28 June 2019

If you want younger and brighter looking skin, let me let you in on a secret… That is hard work and dedication, but it always pays off! Unfortunately skin problems can not be reversed (in most cases) but it can be remedied or drastically improve in the long run. Today we will be doing an Elizabeth Arden Hydragel Cream Review. I just have to mention that Elizabeth Arden is one of my favourite skin care brands and I enjoy most of their skincare products. This moisturiser was no different and in this post I will tell you why you are going to love it!

Skin care is an investment in yourself. And you will only reap the benefits later in life. Wish I had the sense to listen to my mom and invest earlier in my life in good skin care. But skincare does not have to cost you an arm or a leg. You just have to find that ultimate product range that is well suited for your skin type and age. It will also be beneficial if you use products from one specific range or brand as far as possible. By doing this you are not using products that might work against each other, or do more or less the same function as another product. By eliminating those double products, you might have the extra moola to get that range that you feel is a total splurge.

Packaging

The first thing you will notice is the beautiful holographic box. Its the epitome of brightening and Illuminating. The tub itself is just as beautiful. The silver lid forms part of the brightening and illuminating range and the red with the frosted glass is just 👌. It feels so classy and high end (even though its not glass). The jar feels like there is some weight to it which translates in your mind as value for money.

I recently heard a joke that is quite fitting. What do you call loads of unicorns? A blessing! 🦄

Formula

I have literally left just enough product to do this review, it was that good! This jar is not just a pretty face on your vanity, it also packs a punch! First off, you will notice that this is a very lightweight formula that just melts into your skin. It feels like a gel, but acts like a cream. Being absorbed by the skin very quickly is but just one of the benefits, it also contains brighteners to make dark spots look faded. The formula also has got hyaluronic acid to plump the skin and assist with the ultimate hydration. This did not clog my pores and made my make up glide on. I had some of the best makeup days when wearing this moisturiser.

What I enjoyed most from this moisturiser is that I got bags full of hydration without looking like a glazed pig. The smell is mesmerising, if nourishing had a smell this would be it! My skin looked plump and healthy and the product dissipated so quickly without leaving an oily residue behind. Once again I am in love with yet another Elizabeth Arden product. I received this as PR but will definitely repurchase it!
