Are you looking for a little something to spoil yourself with or maybe you need a “pick me up”? I wondered into the L’Ocitane store at Tygervalley the one day feeling the need to spoil myself and walked out there with these lovelies in hand. Keep reading my L’Occitane Face Mask Pods Review to find out what I think of these.
First off, I think these would make an exceptional gift for a family member or friend. They are so pretty and girly and if you add a Ferrero Rocher trio with a magazine, you will be the world’s best gift giver! I am absolutely sold on the packaging alone! Lets not keep you waiting and jumped straight into the review.
L’Occitane Face Mask Pods Review
Purifying Minute Mask
Oily to combination skin types would benefit the most from this mask. The formula I would describe almost like a pink clay, its thick and luxurious. Shower time was the easiest and most convenient time for me to use this mask. You literally only need it on for three minutes then you can rinse it off. My pores felt clean and slightly tighter but best of all was the smell of this mask. With Peony being one of the main ingredients it can not not smell good.
Flash Moisture Mask
Smelling these masks take twice as long as the amount of time you have to wear them on your face. They smell delectable, beautiful and dainty. The flash mask I would describe more as a cream or lotion formula. Applying this with a flat brush is easy as pie and a huge treat for me. Once again you only need to wear this mask for around 5 minute for it to do all the magic. On my dehydrated skin this was a winner, when getting out the shower my face felt hydrated and ready for the rest of my skin care routine.
Overnight Perfecting Mask
Just like the other two masks this one has got a different formula as well. When you tuck into this mask you will notice it has a gel like formula. It feels lightweight on the skin and does not clog the pores. The smell is also light and a little bit toned down more than the rest. My skin felt plump and hydrated the next morning without looking and feeling too oily. You can use this instead or together with your night cream for that extra hint of hydration.
You can order these masks from the L’Occitane online store or pick them up from your closest L’Occitane boutique. They retail for R95 each and contain 6g of product. I got two good uses from each pod and felt like this was a huge spoil. Knowing that the brand is a little bit more on the high end scale, it was nice to find something I could spoil myself without breaking the bank.
What high end products do you use to spoil yourself from time to time? I really enjoy the L’Occitane shea butter hand creams – check out my review here.
