Review : Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow

2 July 2019

Who does not like a little bit of fairy dust sprinkles? In today’s Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow review I am going to convince you why you need to add some glitter. Some people will need no convincing and just click the “add to cart” link, cause glitter is a “must have”. Others might need to read past the intro and pretty cover picture to be convinced.

Packaging

Sophisticated is the first word that jumps to mind followed by “lady-like” when I look at the beautiful packaging. A clear square tube that shows off the colour of the glitter in the middle. I find its the simplicity that pulls me in, yet the contents is no where near simple or plain. When you open the lid, you pull out a doe foot applicator with more than enough product to be used on both eyes. When it comes to doe foot applicators, this one is good. It is big enough to cover the lid easily but you can still use it on the inner corners.

Performance

Not even my oily eyelids can make this shadow budge. It is a super hero, I tell you. I can get a good 10 to 12 hour wear out of this eyeshadow. One huge plus is that I do not experience any glitter on my face when using this shadow. Once its set, its there to stay. The sparkle is just the right amount of bling, but the grownup kind of bling. It accentuate my eyes in all the good ways. You might be thinking this looks a bit like an evening shadow, no my friend. Its perfect for day time as well. A little bit of colour through the crease with some black liner and you are good to go!

These shadows have been on my Wishlist forever and I wish I owned more colours. As you can see I have my eyes set on this eyeshadow’s sister, come have a look here. They all retail for around R360 each and you can purchase them from Woolworths or The Beautiful store.

This particular shade is called Kitten Karma and its a very versatile colour. Kitten Karma is a beautiful rose gold shade that would suite almost everyone (if not anyone). If this Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow review did not convince you that you need glittery eyes, then I do not know what will. But one thing is for sure, every girl can do with a little bit more glitter in her life.
