The Elizabeth Arden 8 hour range is one of the most well known products in the industry and over the years the range has been extended from one “miracle” cream to a whole range full of products. And I am sure there are more innovative ones to come in the future. Hands up if you have ever used Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour, 🙋🏼♀️
Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour
A while back I was sent the limited edition 8 Hour cream along with some of her friends, and most of them I have either purchased myself before or have re-purchased again afterwards. The 8 Hour range really is a power house and the products are just all around amazing.
Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream
I know you have used or at least seen these funky limited editions. Each year Elizabeth Arden launch a funky packaged limited edition 8 Hour cream. Same formula, same goodness, same amazingness, just funkier packaging. Now if you have not heard or read about this cream somewhere, then clearly you are living under a rock. Cause the internet is full of great reviews, but I want to share a few tips and tricks on how you can use your 8 hour cream that is out of the ordinary.
- At home mani / pedi
Apply this to your hands and feet, make sure to take extra care of your nails, cuticles and toes and wrap a hot towel over. Keep it there for a few minutes. This will act as a deep conditioning mask and will leave your skin soft, moisturised and healthy.
- At home lip scrub
Add just a tiny bit to your lips and either use a bit of sugar or even a soft toothbrush to gently exfoliate your lips leaving them flake free and ready for that Red Door pout! 💋
- Extra Moisture while traveling
Traveling can be tough on the skin especially flying. By adding some Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour cream to your normal skincare routine on the day you fly, will help to seal in some extra moisture.
- Those pesky fly-aways
When used in conjunction with a spoolie you can keep those pesky fly away hair at bay and look Super Glam all day long.
- ‘Dem Brows
Using a spoolie again and the tiniest bit of Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream you can add some definition to your brows and also keep them in place.
Like I said the 8 hour cream is a must have in every girl’s beauty bag.
Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Lip Protectant Stick
This is more than just pretty packaging! I am in love with this lip balm / lip protectant. Its easy to apply, smells divine and help protect the lips against sun and other environmental impurities. I keep mine on my desk at the office and I have almost finished it. I will definitely have to get me a new one soon. My lips feel soft and pouty and it adds some hydration when I want to wear a matte lip. I just pop some on while I do my makeup and make sure to remove as much as possible before I put on my lipstick. It also make for the PERFECT lip topper! Its so shiny and I am totally in love! When I am re-purchasing mine I am thinking of getting one of the colour lip protectants. 💄
Then followed the rest of the squad… I have purchased all three products myself prior to receiving them in PR and I will keep on investing in the 8 hour range. I love most of their skin car products with the one or two exceptions, but that comes down to mostly personal preferences. Otherwise the 8 hour range can do no wrong in my eyes.
Elizabeth Arden 8 hour Sun Defense
I do not show my face outside without wearing my Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream Sun Defense. I have featured it in previous blogposts as well as a few favourites posts. I have never been let down by this sunscreen (take note that its only for the face – do not put this on your arms and legs and what what!) It also plays well with makeup and other skincare.
Elizabeth Arden 8 Hours Miracle Mist
This is another one of those multi functional products and a great all rounder! I featured it the first time just after it launched in this haul. Not only is this great to just add some moisture on a hot day, but you can also use this before you start with your skincare / makeup routine for a little something extra. When your skin is a little bit on the drier side, you can also mix this with your foundation to prevent it from looking cakey or clinging to dry patches. This mist is that “pick-me-up” product that you keep just cause its so good at almost everything!!
Elizabeth Arden Miracle Oil
Another all rounder! And that is exactly what I called it when I did a full review here. I still feel exactly the same that this oil is just good for everything. All the way from your hair down to your feet. You can add some life and shine if its needed in the hair department. Its also great on the skin as a moisturiser, even helps after you have shaved. The smell is uplifting and very similar to the 8 hour family. Just watch out around the eyes but otherwise you can not go wrong with the miracle oil!
